The moment you've all been waiting for...after 46 long days, I finally got some dessert! Was it everything I expected? Not exactly. The anticipation leading up to it was almost better than the actual dessert itself. The dessert was good, don't get me wrong, but after a long day of cleaning, laundry, walking, and baby wrangling, it's midnight and I'm a little wiped! Probably too tired to really enjoy it properly so, I just had a few bites. I'm sort of afraid I've killed my love of sweets forever, but we'll see what happens tomorrow!
